The white horsehair dauber is used to apply shoe creams and polishes.
The white horsehair and beechwood dauber allows you to spread any shoe cream or polish onto your smooth leather shoes as part of your leather care. This dauber also ensures that the product used penetrates the leather. The dense bristles stapled to the small round head lets you apply a thick layer of shoe polish to a very specific spot. The simplicity and comfort of the dauber's handle helps you in applying the ideal amount of product to the leather. Its small size is perfect for those reaching very specific areas of the shoe such as the eyelets, the brogue, or the tongue.
After using a shoe cleaning brush and cleaning lotion to dust and tidy up your shoe, use the dauber to apply the cream or polish. Tap the dauber on the polish and apply the product to the leather using small circular strokes so that it can adequately penetrate the leather. The dauber helps you spread the cream in an even manner, and get to those hard-to-reach areas. It also ensures that the leather's surface is treated with the right quantity of cream or polish.
To clean your dauber, hand wash with warm water and a drop of dishwashing liquid. The horsehair bristles are very strong and won't get damaged by cleaning, even if done regularly. If you use one dauber for all of your polish colours, we recommend that you clean it as soon as you change colours in order to avoid mixing the different shades on your shoes.
