The Desbois shoe repair shop is a place where you can sit and talk about shoes while they're being shined, or simply drop them off quickly. Combining authenticity and modernity, Desbois shoe repair shop is a well-known local shoe repair shop in the 17ᵉ arrondissement. For over 10 years, Bruno Desbois and his team have been taking care of your shoes thanks to their expertise as bootmakers and shoemakers. All your shoes can be durably repaired. The shoe repair workshop repairs all types of footwear: women's and men's shoes, shoes for all seasons and all brands. Our repair services are carried out in the traditional manner, with handcrafted, made-to-measure work. All classic shoe repair services are available: from protection to complete repair. Skids are made to the shape of the shoe to follow its line, from sheets of crepe. Resoiling is done by hand, with the addition of welt if necessary. Full Blake and Goodyear stitched resoles are made on site.

Among the classic shoemaking services, Atelier Desbois can repair all slides on dress shoes and sneakers. It can also widen your shoes by a few centimeters for greater walking comfort. The service can go up to half a shoe size in width.

The workshop offers renovation services, including restoration of the original color, and repair of scuffs and scratches. A shoe-cleaning service is also available. Special care is given to deep cleaning to remove stubborn stains and restore leather to its natural suppleness and shine. You can leave your shoes to be polished and glazed in the shoe repair shop. Quality products, made in France and based on natural active ingredients, are used to make your shoes shine. All smooth or grained leather shoes are eligible for the Paris 17 shoe shine service. You can also entrust us with your suede or calfskin shoes.
La cordonnerie Desbois also offers a dyeing and patination service for shoes. A palette of exceptional colors is available to bring your shoes back to life. A high-quality dye is applied to the whole shoe, followed by a shoe polish to fix it.

In a refurbished former cobbler's workshop at 27 rue Biot, Paris 17, Atelier Desbois welcomes you. Just a stone's throw from Place de Clichy, the Desbois shoe repair shop is open Monday to Tuesday. This local cobbler's shop can be reached by metro or on foot.
On foot, behind Paris Saint-Lazare station, via rue d'Amsterdam and then across to Place de Clichy.
By metro, the cobbler's shop is accessible via line 13 at the Place de Clichy stop, behind the Saint-Lazare station.
By car, the one-way street has no parking spaces. We advise you to park in the parallel streets.
