I purchased this gold to renovate some gold Tod’s gladiator sandals and I followed the instructions but unfortunately, the new gold wax just comes off on the hands when putting the sandals on and tying the sandals. I do not recommend this product at all! In fact it has made my sandals worse and unwearable now as every time I try to, wear them, gold falls off onto the floor and on my hands!! Also the sandals now look like two tones of gold.
